A four-storey office building in Barendrecht’s Fruitpacking District was completely transformed by Studio Sherylleysner for Emborion Vastgoed after severe fire damage. The redesign focused on openness and connection, introducing transparent façades, a striking central staircase, and improved shared spaces that encourage interaction between users. Interiors combine organic forms, natural materials, and warm textures to create calm, human-centred work environments tailored to different tenants. Alongside the interior transformation, the exterior, terraces, and surrounding public areas were reimagined to give the building a welcoming, future-proof identity. The result is a transparent, social workplace where architecture, nature-inspired design, and community come together.
